Gathering the necessary documents is critical to get timely responses from lenders and reduce time delays in getting your financing.

This guide will help you gather documents and submit your information to start the financing process in 5 easy steps.

5 Easy Steps to Submit Your File

  1. Provide answers to the list of questions below to paste into the Q&A Summary form field (see below)
  2. Reference our document checklists for the type of financing your client needs (see below)
  3. Download document templates to facilitate the collection process (see below)
  4. Add, organize and logically label all completed documents to a data room using Dropbox, Google Drive etc
  5. Complete the form and include a link to the data room

    • Personal tax returns (2 years)

     

    IF INCLUDES CONSTRUCTION:

     

    • Feasibility study (if applicable)
    • Construction schedule
    • Construction/project scope including maps, blueprints, drawings, permits, approvals (as applicable)
    • Construction/project budget
    • All construction contracts signed by the proposed borrower (general construction contract, project manager/owner’s representative contract, architect’s contract, etc.)

     

    IF INCLUDES EQUIPMENT:

     

    • Detailed equipment listing
    • Invoices and specifications sheets for equipment budgeted for purchase

     

    IF INCLUDES LICENSES:

     

    • Details of all granted/pending licenses and license applications (licenses by jurisdiction and type)
    • Details of all granted/pending patents
